The mission tour offered great food and fun history! Request Keila as your tour guide. She was fun, energetic, and knowledgable! A must do in San Francisco!

We did the Mission District Food Tour on our last day in San Francisco, we should have done it on the FIRST!
We got a brilliant cultural and historical tour of the mission, tasted some amazing food and got great tips and recommendations for other places to eat and drink.
Zev, our guide, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun.
I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to SF - do it early in your trip and you will never struggle for somewhere to eat and drink for your whole stay.

Great evening and exposure to the Mission's evolving food scene. Fun to see and enjoy these unique spots that are really bringing unique concepts to food and drink without "pushing the envelope." Food and drink pairings enjoyable and some that could be easily incorporated into your own home experiences. Corrine was exceedingly enthusiastic and knowledgable. There were only 3 of us on the tour, which am sure made it more enjoyable, intimate and knowledgable.

Corrine was the BEST! My mother and I took the Mission District Food Tour with Corrine. She was very knowledgeable about the area, knew the merchants along the trail well and selected wonderful samplings for us. The food was awesome, we had quite a variety of tastings, and enjoyed each and every one.

Had a blast on this food tour! Avital was extremely knowledgable around the Mission district where we had our food tour. The places she picked out were the perfect mix.
We first toured at Hogs & Rocks--the first time I tried cured ham and oysters together. To top that off, we had a cocktail that contained figs, agave and bourbon. In between stops, Avital would give us some history on the Mission District (Who knew the Mission San Francisco de Asís is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco?).
Next, we went to Mission Cheese where we had a beer and cheese tasting. The owner personally gave us a presentation of what cheeses are best paired with which types of beer. Other stops included an empanadas restaurant, Bi-Rite supermarket, and Bi-Rite Creamery (the last stop of the food tour sealed it for me).
I'll definitely be going to one of Avital's other tours the next time I'm in San Fran.

This was a fantastic tour that focused on local gems of San Francisco's food and beverage culture. It was great tour that mixed history and food and was a great orientation to the Mission District and North Beach. Avital tours were great to deal with delivered two entertaining and enthusiastic tours for us and were easily the highlight of our trip to San Francisco
