    Redwoods, Wine & Dine

The bounty of Northern California is on full display in this one-day nature and culinary adventure. The day begins at the magnificent Armstrong Woods and with a walk among trees that soar 300 feet in the sky. This is an unparalleled chance to experience trees that have been around for 1500 years. It is a lesser known Redwood Forest, so the walk is much quieter and less-populated than the more common tourist destination of Muir Woods. We then move on to Kendall-Jackson winery and culinary garden where the farm-to-table culinary movement is in full bloom. We will tour through the gardens that are the source of vegetables and herbs for California’s most prestigious restaurants. Once we’ve seen the incredible offering of the culinary garden, Kendall Jackson’s award-winning chefs will prepare a four-course lunch paired with some of Kendall Jackson’s finest wines. The seasonal menu is designed with the freshest ingredients from the garden along with locally sourced meats and fruits.

    Redwoods & Wine

Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge is a forest of amazing Redwood Trees. It is called Muir Woods. Other companies go there with busloads of tourists. So we don't. We go to Armstrong Woods, a lesser-known ancient forest with the tallest trees on the planet. But please don’t tell others that we go there – we want it to remain our secret. At Armstrong, you can enjoy the silence of the forest with trees that have been around since Middle Ages. The day continues on to boutique wineries in the Russian River of Sonoma County. We provide two very unique experiences – a small boutique winery and a grand tasting room located in the center of rolling fields of vines. All tasting fees and a picnic lunch is provided. Gratuity not included

    Redwoods, Coast & Sausalito tour

This tour is a chance to experience all that Northern California has to offer- giant redwoods, a stunning coastline, tiny railroad towns, Hollywood movie locations and wonderful views of San Francisco. We begin the day day at Armstrong Woods, where you will walk among the oldest and largest trees on the planet Armstrong is a lesser known Bay Area jewel that is not travelled by large groups of tourists, so it feels like the trees are there just for you. We will purchase lunch in the old railroad town of Guerneville and, weather permitting, thake it to go picnic on the beach. We will spend time at Goat Rock, which many recognize from the film “The Goonies”. We then drive along the coast and stop for breathtaking views, sea lions and perhaps even see some migrating whales, depending on the season. We make our way to Bodega Bay where Hitchcock filmed “The Birds”. The day ends in Sausalito, a lovely town on the San Francisco Bay with magical views of the city. Then, you can decide if you want to return with us or take a 30 minute ferry ride back to San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf. Tour does not include lunch or the optional ferry
