Redwoods & Wine

What to expect
  • Tour the Armstrong Woods and Sonoma Valley over the course of one lovely afternoon
  • Spend an hour and a half among some of the tallest and oldest trees in the world
  • Check out Kendall Jackson Winery, sampling their finest vintages and learning about the wine-making process
  • Enjoy a morning ride over the Golden Gate Bridge
Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge is a forest of amazing Redwood Trees. It is called Muir Woods. Other companies go there with busloads of tourists. So we don't. We go to Armstrong Woods, a lesser-known ancient forest with the tallest trees on the planet.

But please don’t tell others that we go there – we want it to remain our secret. At Armstrong, you can enjoy the silence of the forest with trees that have been around since Middle Ages.

The day continues on to boutique wineries in the Russian River of Sonoma County. We provide three very different experiences – from a family-owned vineyard, to a tasting room that was started by a group of friends forty years ago, and on to a grand tasting room located in the center of rolling fields of vines.

Note: Specify your pickup location in the 'special requests' box upon checkout. Must be 21 to consume wine.

All tasting fees and a picnic lunch is provided. Gratuity not included
