Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour August 23, 2017My office did the Uptown Oakland tour on Aug 15th as a team building event. When I first booked the tour, I was a bit hesitant about the price as it's quite expensive compared to other tours I've done. But, you truly get what you pay for! While most tours give you a taste (literally one bite per stop), we had so much food we weren't able to eat it all! The food was delicious and filling and as I found out, totally worth the price.
Our guide, Sarah Henry, was extremely knowledgable and fun to be with. She was great at letting us have our own space to chit chat and then jumped right in when the conversation lulled with fun bits of info. I was really impressed and can't say enough good things about her. I hope all your tour guides are like Sarah! -

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour August 6, 2017Went on the Temsecal brews and bites tour in oakland. My wife and her friends had a blast. Our tour guide Paul was amazing , very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and beers we had. The food was amazing the beer was better. You leave with a great feeling and a full stomach. I will definitely be trying the other tours, and most likely will do another tour with Paul since their are so many more places he wanted to show us.

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour July 26, 2017My company had a group outing with Edible Excursions for a their 24th street food tour. This was the second time I did the tour, the first was with family.
The tour is an amazing blend of tasty food samples, history, art, and meeting locals.
We were a group of 30, and people raved afterwards about how great the food was. The restaurants we visited were very friendly and seemed to enjoy the visitors and getting a chance to explain their histories and favorite items.
We will definitely be going back to try some of the other tours. -

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour July 16, 2017We took part in a private edible tour at the ferry building with our very knowledgeable guide Travis this Saturday. Our group had such an amazing time and Travis was full of fun facts and he had personal connections with all the vendors! We met some great leaders in the food community and tasted so many delicious items!!! I would recommend this tour to everyone!! Thank you Travis for such a wonderful day! I will definitely be doing this again!

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour April 30, 2017Attended a Ferry Building tour with a group of friends and Elitsa was the guide. We've never been to the Ferry Building and would recommend this tour to everyone. We tasted a variety of samples and learned a lot about the history of the building. We're already looking forward to attending the other tours they offer!

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour March 20, 2017Super fun! I live in Oakland and joined some friends last minute on their Uptown Oakland tour. I love the food scene in Oakland, and consider myself pretty in the loop, so I was so excited to have learned to much from our guide Sarah. She was awesome. Super cool, clearly passionate about the local food scene and systems here, plus fun! I thought I knew all the cool spots and notable menu items in my neighborhood. I love being pleasantly surprised. I recommend this experience for locals and visitors alike!

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour February 3, 2017Participated in my first Edible Excursions outing yesterday with the team from work - it won't be my last!!
Our group was greeted by Karen outside of the Ferry Building, who was awesome! She knows a great deal about local history, background of the stops we made, she's passionate and fun, and definitely loves what she does!
We enjoyed wine, cured meats, cheeses, fish tacos, chocolates, French macaroons - in a word, AWESOME!! The outing ended up with us sitting at a table at Slanted Door to enjoy a fantastic meal of small bites and tastes of a number of their menu items. It was fantastic!
I can't say enough good things about this tour, and Karen was the perfect guide for our enjoyable, edible excursion! -

Uptown Oakland Food and Drinks Tour November 16, 2016This was our second food tour with Edible Excursions. Their customer service is fantastic and I love their "guides".
Last time my wife and I did the tour of Temescal area of Oakland. It was really fantastic with tons of food, cool places we wouldn't have found out about otherwise, and a great guide. That was last December.
Yesterday I took my mom on a food tour of the Ferry building in San Francisco led by Sophia. She was intelligent, friendly and cheerful. We learned a ton of cool facts and we tried places and things we had not tried before and I had been to the Ferry Building many times. My mom loved it. This was a Christmas present from last year that I wanted to get done before this Christmas.
Cannot say enough good things about Edible Excursions and we look forward to doing an UPTOWN Oakland tour with them and the Gourmet Ghetto tour and maybe a chocolate tour of the Mission.
