Described as meditation in motion, this gentle martial art is designed to help practitioners harness their internal energies, working towards clarity of mind and a soothing sense of emotional balance.

With Eight Steps Mantis, you’ll begin your practice with a Chi Gung meditation, and warm up with traditional stretches. Then, once your mind and body are prepared, you’ll launch into the Tai Chi practice, learning single movements that will build up to a full set.

In time, you’ll gain the ability to sense subtle weight shifts in your body, and to perfectly coordinate your breathing with your motion. To get to this point, you’ll enjoy one-on-one guidance to help make critical corrections and ensure that your form is correct, receiving instruction from teachers that support and care about the wellbeing of their students.
