Maybe you're the impatient sort, tired of slow moving tours that stretch the definition of ambulatory. Or maybe you're just looking for a scenic run with good company. Either way, this running tour of some of San Francisco's best vantage points will leave you breathless (metaphorically).
You'll start out at Golden Gate Park, and head out towards Ocean Beach, where you'll get to take in the crashing surf of the Pacific Ocean. You'll pass by Cliff House and the ruins of the Sutro Baths, before taking to the forested paths of the coastal trail at Land's End, and then making the climb to the Palace of the Legion of Honor. Along the way, your intrepid tour guide will point out some of the route's best features, and fill you in on a little history.
Run along now!
Note: Tour includes about 6 miles of running over approximately 1-1/2 hours. Running takes place on both paved and dirt trails, and with several hills and stairs.
The exact meeting location is given upon confirmation of booking.
