When they say “if you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear a flower in your hair” they’re talking about Haight Ashbury. Synonymous with “The Summer of Love”, Haight Ashbury was a hotbed of hippie culture in the ‘60’s. On this tour you will have the opportunity to see the sites of Panhandle, the Haight-Ashbury sign, a former site of the Grateful Dead, and Amoeba Music. And don’t worry -- your expert and entertaining guide will be very welcoming. After all, “If you're going to San Francisco, you're gonna meet some gentle people there.”
Note: A max of 5 people can book at a time as per our partner's strict group booking policy. If you are group of 6 or more and place multiple bookings to go around our partner's restriction, our partner will immediately cancel your bookings. As this tour is no cost upfront, you have the opportunity to name your price depending on how you value the tour, pay-what-you-wish is for every budget! This tour works on the honor system, so please understand that if you make a reservation and don’t show up without 24 hour notice, future tours will be placed on stand-by status.
