Dry Creek Wine and Biking Day Trip

Gears & Grapes
What to expect
  • Explore the best wineries and beautiful landscape of Dry Creek Valley by bike
  • Pedal from winery to winery, stopping for a picnic lunch in the vineyards along the way
  • Store your purchased bottles in a shuttle, or jump in to take a break from cycling
Dry Creek is a complete misnomer on this exciting tasting trip. Leaving San Francisco behind, you'll be shuttled out to beautiful Dry Creek Valley, known for its rustic atmosphere and quaint, family-owned wineries. There, you'll be set up with a bike and guided from winery to winery, where you can sample and buy delicious wares. Along the way, you'll stop for a delicious picnic lunch amongst the vineyards. If the rolling hills of the valley get to be too much for you, you can always ride along in the shuttle that accompanies your whole trip, just for the purpose of carrying purchased bottles and weary riders. And the best part is there's no need to feel guilty about spending the day drinking -- you'll just work it off on your way to the next spot.

Note: The total mileage ranges between 10 and 15 miles, or 20-30 minutes of cycling between wineries. The cost of this activity includes transportation, guide, bike rental, helmet, water, support vehicle and a gourmet picnic lunch. The price of wine tasting fees are not included in the price of this booking; it is extra and to be paid upon arrival.
