Come experience the restored Napa River as a living river, alive with the sounds of nature!
On your stand up paddle board, you’ll ride the flowing tides of the San Francisco Bay up through the riparian corridor, where a mix of salt and fresh waters create a rich wildlife experience both above and below the surface.
You’ll meander through tidal marshland past the Oxbrow Preserve, coming to land in the Oak Knoll Viticulture Area. Spot wild grape vines, the first hint to settlers that this would be a promising area.
Learn about the design of the living river, from the historic floodplain and the mud flats to the shallows and sandbars.
This is a side of wine country that you haven’t seen before!
Note: Note: There is a 2 person minimum to book. The tour includes stand up paddleboard, paddle, PFD, guide, intro lesson, and natural and human history discussions.
