    Wine and Cheese Pairing

What food goes best with wine? If you said "Funyuns" -- well, that's not what we would have said. But who are we to say who's right and wrong? It's a matter of opinion, after all. We were going to go with "cheese", something you may want to look into. They go quite well together. Learn all about it at Cornerstone Cellars Wine and Cheese Pairing session. In the vibrant comfort of their cellar, they'll demystify the age-old question of which wine to pair with what cheese. You'll get to taste"‹ Chenin Blanc , Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir,"‹Cabernet Franc "‹and Cabernet Sauvignon, and try to figure out what cheese goes best with each. And if you want to try to sneak in some Funyuns, well, we won't tell.

    Private Tour & Tasting

You'd not only be missing out on a great opportunity, but we think it would be rather Rued of you to decline this private tour and tasting. The Rued Family started a tradition of farming and grape growing in Sonoma County in 1882. Located just seconds northwest of the historic Dry Creek Store, the winery has started a new tradition of making wine. During this private tasting, you'll be greeted on arrival with a taste of a classic Chardonnay. The tour then moves on to showcase the estate vineyard. Afterwards, it's off to the cellar for samples right out of the barrel. When you're finished, your group will take a seat on the patio at the picnic tables for a private tasting of the estate reds paired with artisan cheeses and other nibbles. When you are all done, stop by the tasting room for a gift from the Rued Family. It's going to be a barrel of fun!
