    Aireal Rope

    This advanced form of flexible apparatus involves climbing a suspended rope, and using it to swing, spiral, and pose your body in mid-air. This class focuses on using the knees and hips, open positioning, and momentum to improve strength and endurance. Rope is focused on fluidity and motion, and uses minimal points of contact. You’ll have the opportunity to try both braided and covered ropes to find the acrobatic challenge that suits you best. Because of your need to hold your own weight, there’s no room for cheating (like that time you took a nap in the back of your Yogalates class); this makes it a great way to build core and upper body strength in no time!

    Beginner Aireal

    Board your magic carpet to the heights of your dreams! Airealism is the Art of Flying, the study of the dragon, and the pulsation of the heart. In this introduction to aerial acrobatics, you’ll combine aerial, visual, and circus stunts in an elegant, energetic workout. This is the class for beginning aerialists to learn the fundamentals of aireal art, utilizing silks, rope, hoop, trapeze, and pole. Base movements of the Aireal Alchemy curriculum will be revealed, sequencing introduced, and strength and flexibility improved. Integrating ground motions with aero dynamics, professional instructors provide organized & safe tools to channeling comfort in the air. With continued studies, the alchemist will develop proper inversion techniques, and become familiar with aerial vocabulary, basic rigging, and safety procedures.

    Aireal Hoop

    Picture a hula hoop suspended from the ceiling as your medium for acrobatic tricks like spins, drops, and poses. A fancy way of expressing flexibility, aerial hoop, also known as lyra, is diverse in its usages. This introductory class focuses on the cross over vocabulary from flexible apparatus, as well as flexibility enhancement. You’ll work on strengthening and conditioning to maximize your individual dexterity -- but unlike your typical Butts N’ Guts class at the gym, you get to swing through the air while you’re at it.
