About this Activity
This advanced form of flexible apparatus involves climbing a suspended rope, and using it to swing, spiral, and pose your body in mid-air. This class focuses on using the knees and hips, open positioning, and momentum to improve strength and endurance. Rope is focused on fluidity and motion, and uses minimal points of contact. You’ll have the opportunity to try both braided and covered ropes to find the acrobatic challenge that suits you best. Because of your need to hold your own weight, there’s no room for cheating (like that time you took a nap in the back of your Yogalates class); this makes it a great way to build core and upper body strength in no time!

About the Teacher
As Founder of the Skyhigh Odditorium, Madamn Burnz works actively to transform her teachings into an audio-visual curriculum, the Aireal Alchemy series. Her master degree in Education brings constant reevaluation of her teaching skills within her evolutionary classroom. She is a lifelong student, teacher, and passionista of acrobatics.
