Depart the urban jungle for a private tour of the awe-inspiring natural wonders of Yosemite National Park. Your adventure begins with a 7am pickup at your central San Francisco hotel, and then you can just sit back and relax on the drive to the park. You'll pass through the Central Valley and ascend into the Sierra foothills before being greeted at Yosemite by jaw-dropping views of the valley. Magnificent granite cliffs slope into the deep verdant valley, which was carved out by glaciers thousands of years ago.

You'll have about four hours total to explore the treasure of the valley, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Listen to your guide as he explains the natural forces that have formed and changed Yosemite over the years. Stroll the pedestrian paths or rent a bike (own expense) for a refreshing way to see the base of the valley. Gaze up at Yosemite's most iconic monument, Half Dome, and pose for postcard-perfect photos in front of multiple waterfalls. Take in the fresh air and consider dipping your toes in the crystal-clear river that flows through the center of the valley.

Then it's off to the renowned Ahwahnee Hotel's grand dining room for a fantastic High Sierra lunch. Continue exploring Yosemite's bounty of activities after lunch, stopping at Half Dome for sweeping views of the valley, hiking to one of Yosemite's many waterfalls or watching rock climbers try to conquer El Capitan. When it's time to head back to San Francisco, you'll drive along the Sierra Nevada and pass Stanislaus National Forest, a picturesque ending to a beautiful day.
