Try your hand at the inventive and adventurous artform known as aerial dance. You'll be guided by Ashley Foster, a well-respected innovator in the field. She will show you the basic moves in a fun and supportive manner and have you flying through the air in no time. Since 2005, UpSwing Aerial Dance Company has been a destination for dancers and movement enthusiasts to push their artistic development. This class gives you the opportunity to learn a unique style and blend of movement while improvising with your instructor and fellow students. UpSwing pushes the boundaries of dance in the choreography and in the classes they teach. So what are you waiting for? Sky's the limit!

    Aerial Dance On Motivity Trapeze

You'll learn basic vocabulary and moves to secure yourself on the equipment with various body parts, but the emphasis of the class is on freedom of movement and expression in the vertical and horizontal space using a type of dance trapeze known as the 'motivity' trapeze. Explore the range of movement possibilities on the apparatus with partners as well as on your own. Since 2005, UpSwing Aerial Dance Company has been a destination for dancers and movement enthusiasts to push their artistic development.
