Hanh E.Presidio Exploration Tour October 1, 2014
My mothers group of 9 trekked from Walnut Creek to the Presidio for a morning hike. We loved the unique artwork, trails and history provided by Alex and enjoyed brunch at Presidio Social Club thereafter. We plan to do the Tales of the Cities Tour next year followed by dim sum. Great bonding and exercise activity!

We had a fabulous time with Alex. Even folks who live in San Francisco did not know the places that Alex took us to. We got a great team building event, an amazing work out and yet a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this trip. Its very affordable and fun at the same time!

My family and I recently did the Presidio Hike and had the best Father's Day adventure. We saw beautiful views of the city that we would never normally see on our own, as well as learned so much from Alex about the history and art of the Presidio area. Alex is so knowledge able and so much fun to hike with. Our family group had a wide range of ages and everyone had such an incredible time with Alex.

I took my leadership team on Alex's hike thru the Presidio. It was a great walk and just the right level of low intensity (other than the Lyon street steps) to allow for good conversation, bonding, and exercise. It was also a great way to show off the beauty of the Presidio and some of the unbelievable homes of Pac Heights. Highly recommend this event.

I took one of Urban Hiker SF's hikes a few weeks back. The Presidio hike. It was spectacular, I had no idea there was such an amazing hike within the city (and not in Golden Gate Park).
Unlike some of the others, this one was very 'nature-y'. Included wooded shaded areas, Presidio history lessons, surprise giant art installations, and spectacular views. It was definitely good exercise but no so strenuous it'll cause serious problems for anyone.
I highly highly recommend it, and can't wait to check out her other hikes!

Loved walking and hiking through some of the highest points in the city. You'll get fantastic views on clear days. The tour helped give me a sense for how all the neighborhoods connect to each other, too.
It wasn't hardcore--while the hills are steep, the guide allows for plenty of rest and water/snack breaks.
The guide is friendly, energetic and down-to-earth, which sets up a nice tone for whole experience.
