Steve Flynn decided to pursue winemaking after working four years at a commercial winery in Colorado, and eventually opening Vino Salida in 2009. After years mastering the art of cooking, he decided to turn winemaking into an art. Steve works closely with local grape and honey producers to forge long lasting relationships, focusing on the grower's talent for growing good grapes. Steve strives to make each vintage better than the last. This has led him to experiment with many different styles of wine, all of which taste unique and purely Coloradan.
