Group Surf Lesson

The surf's up, but are you? Learning to get up on the board for the first time can be tricky business, full of embarrassing wipeouts, missed opportunity, and maybe a little mocking laughter.

This group surf lesson is designed to get you over the hump and in the game, offering safe, professional instruction and personal attention tailored to your experience and learning curve. Each lesson is guaranteed to offer at most a 3-to-1 student-to-instructor ratio, putting Farmdog Surf School in exclusive company as far as outfitters go.

You'll begin with some dry land instruction covering footwork and basic theory, before hitting the waters for the first time to start catching waves.

The Outer Banks are barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina offering open-sea beaches and great waves for novice surfers to start learning the basics of this transformative sport.

Before you know it, you'll be the one laughing. Triumphantly.

Note: All class participants must be at least 6 years old.

No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, or in case of no-show. A cancellation fee of $15 applies for cancellations made less than 2 weeks in advance. No cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 2 or more weeks in advance.
