Discover the essential moves and techniques that make up the Hung Fut system of kung fu, which emphasises low, powerful stances, furious hand techniques, and a unique emphasis on left-handed attacks that make it easy to surprise and overtake an opponent. In this class, you will begin stretching and strengthening exercises. You will practice essential stances, kicks, and punches, and combine them in short routines. Then it’s time to put theory into practice with live sparring matches! You will partner up for a safe, controlled chance to use your moves against a real opponent and combine them in organic ways. As you go, you will radically increase your flexibility, endurance, strength, reflexes and confidence in your ability to defend yourself in a real-life situation.

Note: This is a free trial class for first time students only. You will be paired with a sparring partner of your own skill level.
